With REM measurement, a Prism (reference point) is set directly below the place to be measured, and by measuring the Prism, the height to the Target object can be measured. This makes it easy to determine the heights of electric power lines, bridge suspension cables, and other large items used in construction. |
3D Cross Section Measurement |
| With 3D cross section measurement, prisms positioned at two points almost directly under the unknown locations can be measured, and the coordinates of the vertical surface along the extension of the line formed between the two points can be determined. | ![]() |

With Resection measurement, 2 or 3 known points are measured in order to determine the coordinate of the station point. Each coordinate input can be omitted by designating a point number when the coordinate values of point A, B and C are stored in the internal memory. |
Direct Stake Check Measurement |
| With Direct stake check measurement, the deviation between a horizontal distance design value calculated inversely from the coordinate values of an already known station point (Point A) and target point (Point B), and the horizontal distance between Point A and B as actually measured on-site can be calculated and displayed. | ![]() |

With Remote stake check measurement, the deviation of the design value for the horizontal distance calculated from the coordinate values of the two already known target points (A and B) using inverse calculation and the horizontal distance between opposite sides of A and B actually measured on-site is calculated and displayed. |
Horizontal Angle Repeat |
| With Horizontal angle repeat measurement, the horizontal angle between a first target point (P1) and second target point (P2) can be measured N times, and the cumulative and average values determined. | ![]() |

With Area measurement, the surface area is calculated and displayed in real time as each target point is measured, and the horizontal distance between the two prism points is displayed as well. |

DS
function |
| Field data, Station point No., Instrument height, Measuring point No., Prism height, H angle, V angle, Slope distance can be stored in the internal memory. Up to 1000 points data can be stored after selecting the DS of Command No. 206. | ![]() |

Scaling correction refers to the process of correcting the scaling and projection while a special function measurement is in progress. It is effective on ly with Coordinate stake out, Traverse, Inverse azimuth/distance, Direct stake check, Remote stake check and Resection. Of these, reverse projection correction is also carried out with Coordinate stake out, Inverse azimuth/distance, Direct stake check, and Remote stake check. |
